Finding Her Passion Through Life’s Transitions
Before stepping into the content creation world, Anna spent 20 years working in corporate sales, focusing on finance and insurance. But everything changed after her son was born in 2021. “I realized I needed something that felt like it was truly just mine again,” she recalls.
Always passionate about interior design, she decided to explore Instagram as a creative outlet, noting, “Launching my Instagram reignited a creative spark I hadn’t felt in years.” What started as a fun hobby in January 2023 quickly evolved into a thriving online presence that connected her to a community of likeminded enthusiasts of her “cozy home” aesthetic.
Just one year after launching her account, Anna reached an incredible milestone: 100,000 followers. “It felt like a stroke of luck at the time,” she says humbly, but her hard work and authentic content tell a different story. Today, as she celebrates the November arrival of her second child, Anna has now reached nearly 150,000 followers across all her social media platforms, and her content creation has become a full-fledged business, offering her both creative fulfillment and financial freedom.
The Power of Multi-Platform Success
While Anna’s heart is with Instagram, she understands the importance of diversifying her online presence. She shares content across Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, and even a personal website.
“Building a strong presence across multiple platforms is essential in this industry,” she explains. Still, Anna focuses most of her energy on Instagram, using its content as a baseline before adjusting it to fit the styles and audiences of her other platforms. “Adapting content for each platform takes time, but once you streamline the process, it runs like clockwork.”
Partnering with Mavely

And just during Black Friday and Cyber Week this year, she generated an additional 445 orders and nearly 6,000 link clicks to Mavely brand partner e-commerce websites.
Authenticity Builds Community
For Anna, staying authentic is key to building trust with her audience. She shares glimpses of her life on camera, responds to every direct message, and posts consistently to keep her community engaged. “I stay true to my style, and I think that resonates with my audience,” she explains. “They see how I’ve created a space that’s inviting and beautiful, while still being approachable.”
The authenticity with which Anna shares home decor ideas carries over into other aspects of her life, with followers tuning in to get updates on her pregnancy, sweet glimpses of her family life, and other on-camera moments that make her relatable to her audience. “Being on camera, I think, is important,” ,” Anna notes. “When they see you on camera, they realize you’re a real person, not just a faceless account. It helps create a genuine connection.”
Her advice to new creators? “Share your content even if it feels like only one person will notice. Don’t overthink it. Don’t let fear of rejection hold you back-the right audience will find you, and if not, they can keep scrolling.”
What’s Next for Anna?
As she embarks on an exciting new chapter—welcoming a baby this November—Anna is balancing her content career with family life and staying true to her cozy, approachable aesthetic. “I’m just so thankful that I get to do what I love and support my family in the process,” she says.
