At the heart of every beautifully organized space is a story—and for Meg DeLong, that story starts with sisterhood, creativity, and a really versatile acrylic cart.
Alongside her sister and business partner Ea Fuqua, Meg is the co-founder of The Tidy Home Nashville, a professional organizing service turned content powerhouse. With a mix of real-life relatability and artfully styled systems, the duo has built a loyal community by showing how tidying up can be both attainable and transformational.
“We knew not everyone could hire us,” Meg says, “so we wanted to use our social media to share tips, tricks, and affordable solutions people could actually use in their everyday lives.”
From Family Dream to Functional Aesthetic
The Tidy Home Nashville began six years ago, born from a shared love of order—and each other.
“We always knew we wanted to do something together,” Meg shares. “We’ve never been afraid of trying new things, and our parents always encouraged us to lean into new experiences, so we were like, ‘We can do this too.’ We’re best friends, we get along great, and we both love organizing. So, we just went for it.”
Their creative roots run deep: Meg’s background in fine art (with a love for color theory) and Ea’s graphic design chops shape every visual they post. The result? Home organization content that’s just as visually appealing as it is genuinely useful.
A Style That’s Unmistakably Real
While they admire tidying icons like Marie Kondo and The Home Edit, Meg and Ea wanted their own approach to feel more inclusive. “Not everyone has a Container Store budget,” Meg notes. “We meet people where they’re at—whether they’re shopping at Target or the Dollar Tree.”
From crafting summer-friendly “art carts” for kids to styling jewelry drawers that feel like a boutique, their home organization content showcases how a few thoughtful items can bring peace and function to any space.
That clear acrylic cart? A breakout star. “We’ve sold thousands,” Meg says. “It’s so versatile—arts and crafts, baby gear, LEGOs. People love it because it’s simple, transformative, and it just works.”
The Mavely Moment
Meg and Ea joined Mavely in May 2024, and it quickly became a game-changer.
“Within the first month or two, we saw a major uptick in sales,” Meg says. “It just clicked. Mavely makes it easy—for us as creators, and for our audience.”
After trying a mix of affiliate platforms, they found that Mavely gave them everything in one place—saving time and helping them focus on content creation and creative partnerships with brands like Walmart, Wayfair, and Home Depot.
Favorite Mavely tools? “LinkDM and Link in Bio by Later are lifesavers,” Meg says. “And the support from account managers is unreal. We always get answers when we need them.”
The Business of Being Real
Affiliate linking now plays a huge role in how The Tidy Home monetizes. But trust is the foundation. “We only link what we use in our own homes and our clients’ homes,” Meg emphasizes.
Their ability to weave sponsored links into organic, lifestyle-based home organization content has allowed them to scale, reach new audiences, and—most importantly—pivot toward more content-focused work. “Organizing is physical work,” Meg says. “And we love it—but we also love being creative. Content lets us do both.”
Advice for Aspiring Creators
For Meg, building an authentic connection is everything. “Be consistent. Don’t be afraid to show your face,” she advises. “People want to see who you are—they want that personal touch.”
She adds, “We’re a blended family with four kids and four pets. Our lives aren’t perfect, but we want our home to feel good—and we share that, because that’s what people connect with.”
A Mission Rooted in Self-Care
At the end of the day, The Tidy Home Nashville is more than bins and baskets—it’s about helping people find a sense of peace. “Organizing is a form of self-care,” Meg says. “When someone tags us in a before-and-after photo? That’s the best feeling. We’re part of their journey, even from afar.”
And that’s what makes Meg and Ea a perfect fit for Mavely: creators who empower others by being unapologetically real, relentlessly helpful, and brilliantly organized.
